BuildExpo LLC performs all connections to Crocus Expo IEC engineering infrastructure, in particular: connection to water supply system, compressed air mains and power mains. After technical expertise of sanitary and compress equipment and electrical wiring at the stand BuildExpo LLC engineering team will make necessary connections of a design stand to the Crocus Expo mains.
BuildExpo LLC requirements for connection to engineering infrastructure of Crocus Expo IEC
Connection to power mains:
Connection of electrical equipment of the Event Participants to the mains is made by a five-wire electric cable of cross section corresponding to the load. For stands of independent building the electric cable is provided by the Stand Builder (Event Participant), its length should be not less than 30 running meters. Length of the electric cable of the Builder (Participant) near the connection point to the electrical supply source shouldn't exceed 1,5 meters. The Builder (Participant) should put away surpluses of the electric cable at the stand or cut them off, otherwise connection will be refused. All electric cables connected to distribution cabinet (SHRP), should be pressed out by a terminator (case). At connection of electric equipment of the Builder (Participant) to electric ducts in the pavilion, the Builder (Participant) should have counterparts (plugs) of electric sockets as follows:
Pavilion 1 – 32А and 63А with automatic opening circuit breaker;
Pavilion 2 – lower level 125А with automatic opening circuit breaker, upper level 63А with automatic opening circuit breaker;
Pavilion 3 – lower level 63А with automatic opening circuit breaker, upper level 125А with automatic opening circuit breaker, top level (Hall 20) 63А with automatic opening circuit breaker.
Connection of electric equipment of the Builder (Participant) with capacity exceeding 60 кW (one point) will be made to Crocus Expo IEC distribution cabinets, in this case the Builder (Participant) should have cable terminators of required cross section to make DIN standard termination. Builder (Participant) bears full responsibility for electric cable protection at the stand or for electric cable running along the stand. BuildExpo LLC Maintenance department bears full responsibility for electric cable running in the gangways. Connection of electric equipment of the Builder (Participant) to electrical mains is made after signing of CERTIFICATE of Differentiation of Operational Responsibility (in duplicate) on which BuildExpo LLC specialist after technical inspection of protection means puts CONNECTION authorized stamp. Then the Builder (Participant) gives one copy of the Act (with CONNECTION authorized stamp) to BuildExpo LLC specialist for electrical installations running from the utility ducts to the stand. All connections of electrical wiring should be made with connectors. Should BuildExpo LLC determine that the Builder (Participant) is not complying with the requirements BuildExpo LLC is entitled to refuse connection.
If the total power demand of the event exceeds the standard limit of 60 кW, Builder (Exhibitor) shall agree with BuildExpo LLC upon extra measures to ensure the power supply of the event. For example if required 350 кW the Builder (Exhibitor) orders 6 connections by 60 кW.
Crocus Expo IEC provides the standard limit of the power demand pursuant to 50 W per sq m of indoor space (gross). The Organizer shall provide to the General Builder information on extra power at least 30 days prior to the Overall Event Period.
Temporary power supply networks for Events held outdoors shall be laid out by BuildExpo LLC against a separate contract concluded between BuildExpo LLC and the Organizer of the Event.
